Wi-Fi and power

Free Wi-Fi is available on all Firefly buses. There is no charge and no data cap to buy.

Regular Service seats have USB charging. Business Class seats have wireless charging as well as USB, for every passenger. Look for the socket symbol at your seat, or ask the driver where the nearest one is.

Two honest caveats, because these routes cross a lot of empty country:

• Coverage is not guaranteed. Parts of the Melbourne to Adelaide and Melbourne to Sydney corridors have no mobile coverage at all, and the onboard Wi-Fi depends on it. Expect it to drop out between towns.
• Not every passenger can use it at once. Bandwidth is shared across the bus.

Wi-Fi and charging may also be unavailable on a replacement bus, or if you bought a ticket that Firefly sells on behalf of a partner operator.

If you are relying on being online for the whole trip, download what you need before you board. If you are watching or listening to something, headphones please, and keep the screen brightness down on overnight services.
