These Terms and Conditions govern entry into the Firefly Express Travel Freedom 2026 Competition run in partnership with 3AW Melbourne. By entering, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms. The Competition is governed by Victorian law and conducted under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic) and Gambling Regulations 2015 (Vic).

Competition: Firefly Express Travel Freedom 2026 competition promoted via 3AW Melbourne radio and associated digital channels during March and April 2026.
Competition Period: From campaign launch 16th March 2026 until approximately 31 March 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed prior to launch).
Entrant: Any eligible individual who enters the Competition in accordance with these Terms.
Winner: An Entrant selected as a prize winner in accordance with these Terms.
Companion: One nominated individual who accompanies the Winner when travelling. The Companion must travel on the same service and booking as the Winner at all times, cannot travel independently, and must be nominated prior to prize redemption and cannot be changed once nominated.
Prize — Unlimited Travel: Two prizes available. Each prize includes 12 months of unlimited travel on eligible Firefly Express services for the winner and one nominated companion. Prize covers transportation only; all other expenses are the Winner's responsibility.
Prize — $100 Travel Vouchers: Ten $100 travel vouchers supplied via online discount code within five days of announcement.
Eligible Routes: All current Firefly routes as of March 2026, including travel between Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney only.
Blackout Dates: Apply during 20 December to 6 January (inclusive) each year and all applicable public holidays. Additional blackout periods may apply during school holidays, major events or high-demand travel times. Prize travel is unavailable during blackout periods with no cash alternative, substitute dates or compensation provided.
This Competition is a trade promotion lottery conducted under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic) and Gambling Regulations 2015 (Vic). No permit is required in Victoria.
The Promoter complies with all mandatory conditions under the Gambling Regulations 2015 (Vic), including: the draw will be conducted in a manner that gives each entry a random and equal chance of being selected; the Competition will be conducted in a manner that is not offensive and not contrary to public interest; all promotional materials will include the closing date, draw details, eligibility requirements, and publication name and date.
Winners of prizes valued over $1,000 will have their first name and state of residence published on fireflyexpress.com.au for a minimum of 28 days following the draw. All prize winners will be notified in writing within 5 business days of the draw. Prizes will be paid or transferred to winners within 28 days of the draw. The Promoter will retain accurate records for three years after finalisation.
For South Australian residents, the Promoter complies with the Lotteries Act 2019 (SA) and Lotteries Regulations 2021 (SA) to the extent applicable. Note: The Competition is open to Victorian and South Australian residents only and is not open to New South Wales or other states and territories.
To be eligible, an Entrant must: be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry; enter during the Competition Period; and not be an employee, contractor, agent, or immediate family member of Firefly Express, 3AW, or any organisation involved in management or administration of the Competition.
'Immediate family member' means spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any Entrant providing false or misleading information.
Entry is free; no purchase is necessary. To enter, Entrants must: visit the competition entry page at 3aw.com.au during the Competition Period; complete all required entry fields including full name, email address, state of residence, and phone number; and submit their entry prior to the competition close date.
Entries must be received by 11:59 PM AEDT on the competition close date. Late, incomplete, or illegible entries will not be accepted. Automated entries, bulk entries, or entries submitted by third parties on behalf of individuals are not permitted. Limit of one entry per person; multiple entries will result in disqualification.
6.1 Competition Prizes — Two major prizes available: Prize 1 and Prize 2 each include twelve months of unlimited travel on eligible Firefly Express services for one Winner and one nominated Companion. Each prize commences from the date of prize notification and expires twelve months from that date. Additionally, ten minor prizes of $100 Firefly Express travel vouchers are awarded via 3AW Afternoons and Evenings giveaways throughout the Competition Period.
6.2 Prize Conditions — Unlimited Travel: The unlimited travel prize entitles the Winner and Companion to travel on Firefly Express services on Eligible Routes during the prize period, subject to seat availability and Blackout Dates. The Companion must travel on the same service and booking as the Winner at all times; the prize does not entitle the Companion to travel independently. The Companion must be nominated by the Winner before the first prize redemption and cannot be changed or transferred once nominated.
Travel is subject to Firefly Express standard booking conditions and timetable availability; prizes cannot be redeemed on sold-out services. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize applies to standard coach fares only and does not cover additional services, upgrades, insurance, transfers, or incidental costs. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with travel to or from boarding points.
6.3 Travel Vouchers: Ten $100 Firefly Express travel vouchers will be issued. Each voucher is valid for a single booking on eligible Firefly Express services only. Vouchers must be redeemed and travel completed within twelve (12) months from the date of issue. Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Redemption is subject to availability and blackout dates or peak travel periods as determined by Firefly Express.
If the fare exceeds the voucher value, the holder must pay the difference at the time of booking. No credit, refund or residual value will be given for any unused portion of a voucher. Multiple vouchers may not be combined for a single booking unless otherwise approved by Firefly Express. Vouchers are valid for the base fare only and exclude ancillary products or services including baggage, seat selection, meals, insurance and other add-ons. Lost, stolen, expired or unused vouchers will not be replaced, reissued or extended. All bookings are subject to Firefly Express standard conditions of carriage and applicable fare rules.
The two major prize winners will be selected by random draw conducted by the Promoter within five business days of the Competition close date. The draw will be conducted in Victoria and each entry will have a random and equal chance of being selected.
Winners will be notified by phone and email within two business days of the draw. If a Winner cannot be contacted within five business days of the first notification attempt, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement winner.
Winners' first names and state of residence will be published on fireflyexpress.com.au for a minimum of 28 days following the draw, as required under the Gambling Regulations 2015 (Vic). Winners may also be announced on 3AW. The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.
The Promoter collects personal information from Entrants for the purpose of administering the Competition in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
By entering the Competition, Entrants consent to: the Promoter collecting, storing, and using their personal information to administer the Competition, including contacting them in relation to their entry and any prize; their name and state of residence being published if they are drawn as a Winner, as required by Victorian permit conditions; and receiving marketing communications from Firefly Express (may opt out at any time by contacting the Promoter).
Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except where required to administer the Competition (including 3AW) or as required by law. The Promoter's Privacy Policy is available at fireflyexpress.com.au.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or in connection with participation in the Competition or use of a prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; the Promoter is not responsible for any technical difficulties, system failures, or errors that may affect the entry process; the Promoter is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes to Firefly Express services that may affect the use of a prize. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights a consumer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without notice if circumstances beyond its control arise, including technical failures, fraud, or regulatory changes. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the entry process, acts in an unsportsmanlike manner, or breaches these Terms.
If for any reason a prize cannot be awarded as described, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Competition or these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta or Google. 3AW's involvement is limited to their role as a media partner.

The following terms and conditions apply to the Firefly Family Email Offer ("the Promotion") and are separate from the 3AW "Win a Year of Unlimited Travel" competition terms listed above.

The Promotion commences in March 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 12 April 2026 ("Closing Date").
Entry is open to individuals who: (a) are Australian residents aged 18 years or over; (b) are existing members of the Firefly Express email database at the time of entry; and (c) have received the Firefly Family re-engagement email from Firefly Express. Employees (and their immediate family members) of Firefly Express and any agencies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
To enter, eligible participants must complete the Update Profile form linked within the Firefly Family re-engagement email during the Promotion period. The form requires participants to provide their preferred travel city. Completion of the form constitutes one (1) entry into the Promotion.
Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Additional or duplicate entries will not be accepted.
There are five (5) prizes to be won, each consisting of one (1) Firefly Express travel voucher valued at $100 AUD. The total prize pool is $500 AUD.
The winners will be drawn on 13 April 2026. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter at a time and location determined by the Promoter. The draw is a game of chance - each valid entry has an equal chance of winning.
Winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven (7) business days, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize and conduct a redraw.
